How Can I Tell If My EZ-FLO System is Flowing?

This is one of the more frequently asked questions since you will not hear any noise or feel any mechanical vibration to tell you that the system is running.

If there is no colour in the clear line exiting the unit, the system is empty or not working.

At system startup, you may see bubbles in the clear line (labelled “Green”) moving away from the cap. It is best to purge all air from the unit before starting up but small bubbles in the clear line will not prevent the system from operating. Once those air bubbles clear, you still may find it difficult to see movement.

In that case, one way to see if the system is flowing is to hold a white piece of paper directly behind the clear tubing exiting the cap. The white background highlights any movement in the clear tubing and should help you assess if the system is flowing correctly.

Another way to tell if the system is flowing is to change the cap setting from Slow to Fast. If the colour in the clear line goes from a lighter hue to a darker hue, this will indicate that the system is flowing.
